really wanted to like this place. The reviews were encouraging and I was hungry for some real Ramen. After a 45 minute wait I expected a great experience and delicious food. The place was packed with all these hip young people, what could go wrong? A lot apparently. My party of five ordered two different types of Ramen, with two of us adding extra ingredients. The extra ingredients came in the wrong soups. When we pointed it out we received a look that said a whole lot and nothing nice if you know what I mean. We still fared better than the fifth person in our group whose soup they forgot until we reminded them, twice. The drinks were cold so I guess that's good. I do suspect the ginger lemonade was made with tap water but I can't confirm. All said, don't expect authenticity. This is one or two steps above cup o'noodles.
MoreI liked very much. It's a good place to eat ramen
Amazing ramen at an affordable price. I can’t speak about how authentic their ramen is but I can say it’s delicious. I recommend getting the Yamasan ramen. The broth is full of flavor and is incredibly addictive. The portions are pretty generous and if you get a grande (large) ramen, you definitely will not need an appetizer. Place gets crowded, especially on Fridays and Saturdays so prepare to wait if you are coming for dinner at a normal time. The longest I have had to wait was about 45 minutes but that is not standard.
MoreReally tasty and awesome staff! Really good to compare with Japan's plates I ate before!
MoreDon't know. I didn't get to eat.
10/10 It does taste authentic and with good prices
Good ramen in Mexico is hard to come by, this place is the exception!
Good food, but every time I go they insist on not giving seats until the whole party has arrived. It can be a party of 5, but if only 4 of them are there, they're gonna have to wait till the 5th person arrives.
MoreGreat food and service, but it tends to be full so be prepared to wait a bit for a table.
MoreI think food here it's overrated, I tried several dishes from the menu, and the ramen of the house was by far the best , as others either lacked of flavor or were too oily.. I wouldn't come back.
MoreSmall place, a little overpriced but with great flavors, great service, very traditional dishes, toppings and beverages, however we waited over an hour to get in, i can't decided if it was worth the wait. But if it wasn't overcrowded, it would have been really good.
MoreThe best Ramen I've tasted. Pricey. Only for special ocasions.
Stopped by on a recommendation. I tried the Yamasan ramen, the miso broth was tasty, the noodles were far overcooked, the rest of the topping were were. Compared to real ramen this place is less than authentic in my opinion. Staff was friendly and service was good
MoreBest place to get a hot bowl of delicious ramen. The broth taste was really deep and the noodles were quit firm. This place is a little bit busy but absolutely worth to visit.
MoreThe best I have ever tasted until now
The Veggie Ramen bowl - Yasai bowl I believe it’s called - 10/10!
I went on Sunday around lunch time and the place was packed, so I ordered a take-away, the waitress was nice and the spicy Chinese ramen I had was sooo good! Highly recommended! Price is good, ramen was 110 mexican pesos.
MoreTradition and culinary excellence, a must for ramen lovers
They don't have normal ramen pasta for the vegetarian option you have to eat the gluten free compulsory if you are veggie that tested terrible
MoreIf you want to eat ramen this is the place. Other sites in the city for ramen are terrible. This one is not cheap but not expensive and good ramen.
MoreNo problem with the food, really tasty and pretty big, the only problem is the bad service.
MoreI tried other ramen houses in the city. This is by far the best so far. Ordered the yamasan ramen and it was pretty good. Strong taste to garlic but not in an annoying way. I felt the drinks were on the expensive side but ok. The thing you notice when you go inside is that it's pretty hot I dont know if this is an everyday thing. I felt they were short on staff but the place ain't that big so maybe that's why but I felt I had to ask one too many times for some stuff than I had to. Overall it's a great place.
MoreAmazing food and a really fun enviroment
Disclaimer: I've never been to Japan, so I cannot judge originality, but me and the rest my party loved their ramen! Everything was amazing, and portions were generous. The staff tried to have kind of an authentic Japanese eatery style, where they greet all arriving and departing costumers loudly. It's sort of nice... The first three times. Then it's kind of annoying, specially when people arrive/leave every 5 mins. Other than that, great food and place!
MoreHorrible!! Worst ramen place i’ve ever had....
Great Ramen.
Had lots of ramen in my life, this has to be the worst i have ever tried. I ordered the texas one, the broth was awful. The meat was really bad, and the noodles were very over cooked, they were too soft and sticky. If you come anyway get the fried rice, that was pretty good.
MoreExcellent service. Ramen delicious as usual. If come, take your time because is a small place sometimes you need to wait several minutes.
MoreGreat little Ramen House in Cindesa. Amazing to find vegetarian Ramen, usually it's not easy. Great atomoSphere and awesome staff.
MoreVery tasty ramen. Prices are ok. The matcha ice cream was delicious.
It's a good place for eat a delicious Ramen.
If you are vegetarian don't go here. We got served nasty cold curry, the ramen tasted bland, even the drinks were bland. To top it all off it's expensive. I would never recommend this place.
MoreRamen was as good as always but I feel food quality has decrease a lot! We order Tonkatsu, the meat was very dry, hard and just had flour on it (not panko) also the cabbage smelled bad and was dry, chalky and opaque, I mean, old. Some waitress are very rude also.
MoreGreat place to visit and taste interesting great Oriental flavors in the city. Good casual atmosphere. A bit crowded most of the day. Ask the Yamasan. You won't regret it.
MoreNice place to eat traditional style ramen soups, timewise be ready to wait if it's crowded, otherwise serving times are short, considering that your request is done at the moment you order, no precooked or processed ingredients are used
MoreThe food was amazing, but heavy food poisoning that lasted intensely for 3 days and took a week to heal. Very sad that the health standard didn't match the exceptional taste. (Note: the traditional with chasu got my partner very ill, the Chinese spicy got me moderately sick. I believe the pork was the biggest cause of these issues)
MoreIt was a nice place, clean and spacious but the food was a bit too garlicky for my taste. little to no vegetarian options but I would definitely go again and recommend. Maybe change the policy of not allowing a party to sit if they are not complete and not letting the missing people in after the party is already sited.
MoreThe karaage was so yummy + the soup was one of the best I've had. It got the spot!!
MoreGood ramen for a fair price - not the best ingredients but still an overall good experience.
MoreI enjoyed my ramen. Very tasty, though the noodles were a bit over cooked. But within half an hour I had a pain in my stomach, and spent the rest of the day in bed. That was the only thing I’d eaten all day, so I know it was from that. I read another review from someone else who got food poisoning there, as well. Probably the pork. That was yesterday. I just ate ramen again today, at a different place. No problems. I hope they can fix that, but I won’t be going back.
MoreBest ramen in town! Very very close to the ramen flavor in Tokyo! Love it!
Not ramen, bad service and smell bad
WELL WORTH THE WAIT!
I liked very much this place, the service was kind and flexible, the price was ok (not cheap, not expensive), the flavor was better than experted. It is a good place for comming by yourself or with company. I rate them with 4 stars because at the end they took away my lemonade before I finished it (I didnt realize about it) and they were asking me every 3 minutes if they can take my bowl.
MoreTasty! But sadly this place had zero atmosphere when I visited. No music, just a loud documentary about a Dutch woman visiting Japan. A lot of staff hanging around doing nothing. The ramen was really good but quite expensive, for what it was.
MoreThe best ramen place we’ve ever been, I can say that it’s even better than real Japanese one, because of rich flavors. Yamasan and Chinese ramens are our favorites. Staff is always so so friendly. Place can be busy but it worth it to stay in a line for 10-20 min. They don’t work on Sunday, payment by credit card is possible. Love this place ♥️
MoreGreat experience and taste! Super recommended
Terrible restaurant. Inspite of the fact that 2/3ds of the party was at the restaurant, open tables available and no waitlist the waitress insisted on our whole party being there to seat us and treated us terribly when confronted. The food is mediocre at best considering all the new Ramen spots popping up in mexico city. I would not reccomend this place to anyone at all.
MoreCozy, friendly and fast service, food amazing and not pricey compared to other Japanese places. Even with a wait list, service is fast and they took less than 10 min to assign a table.
MoreThe best place to find good ramen
